FAQs

How long will my site design take?
We can get it done pretty fast! However, it really depends on how quickly you can get us your assets for the site: logo, bio, music, photos etc. Once everything is received, we can usually knock it out within ten business days!

Will you guys host my band's website?
Yes. In order for us to host your domain name (www.yourname.com), you will need to modify your DNS records to point to our name servers. Our Name Servers Are:

ns1.bigrigmedia.com
ns2.bigrigmedia.com

Please send an email to support@bigrigmedia.com if you need help setting up your name servers through your domain register.

How do I pay for the Band Special?
We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover Card, PayPal. Payment for the Band Special must be paid in full using our online shopping cart.

How much does it cost for Band Special to modify my site after it is completed?
If you require additional updates/modifications after the initial site is complete, updates start at $25 and go up. However, most of the time you can make all updates yourself. For a detailed quote please fill out our online support form or call us at 866-524-4744 x 101.

Does Band Special include registration of a Domain Name?
No. We only provide web site design, web hosting, email accounts, FTP and real time stats. If you need help registering your domain name, let us know and we can help!

Can I order the Band Special and have someone else host my site?
No. Our Band Special is a custom built web application that can only be hosted on our servers.

Artwork Submission & File Prep Guidelines

The best format to submit is a PRINT READY .PDF file. We recommended a minimum of 300dpi, converted to CMYK colorspace, all fonts outlined AND embedded. Specify your trim area with crop marks (Don't place crop marks inside the work area). Make sure you have a minimum of 1/8" (0.125") BLEED on all edges of your job, and a 1/8" (0.125") SAFE area that has all critical design element such as text, pulled away from trim.

Following these guidelines, and CAREFULLY CHECKING THE RESULTING PDF before uploading will greatly reduce the possibility of error and accelerate your job through production.

PDF print ready files:

  • Minimum resolution of 300 dpi
  • CMYK colorspace
  • All fonts outlined and embedded
  • Specify trim area with crop marks (Don't place crop marks inside the work area)
  • Artwork should have 1/8" (0.125") bleed from trim line
  • Information content ("Safe Area") should be 1/8" (0.125") away from trim line.

Cancellation Policy

Renewal by Client.  This agreement will automatically renew for successive one-month Terms unless canceled in writing by Client at least 30 days prior to the end of Term renewal date. Renewal prices are subject to change. Renewal of services by Client indicates agreement to any price changes that have been communicated in writing to Client at least 60 days in advance. Renewal fees for the following term will be automatically invoiced to client's account.

Graphic Design & Web Design Policys

Customer acknowledges that during the development of the Band Special web site (the “Web Site”) and/or any printed media (“Media”), Customer’s approval of text, layouts, colors, logos, or other visual content of the Web Site and/or Media will be necessary prior to Big Rig’s moving forward with further development. To this end, Big Rig shall provide one (1) comparable (“Comp”), i.e., a non-functioning mock-up of the Web Site and/or Media, or parts thereof, as applicable, for Customer’s approval.  Following the Delivery of the Comp, Customer shall either approve of the Comp in writing or shall be entitled, at no additional charge, to two (2) revisions of the content within the scope of the Comp. If Customer does not approve of the Comp after the requested revisions have been made, all further revisions requested by Customer to any content within the scope of the Comp shall be billed at $75.00 per hour. Customer agrees that, following Big Rig’s delivery of the Comp, Customer shall promptly approve the Comp or request revisions thereto, in no event more than ten (10) business days after delivery of the Comp. Upon the expiration of such 10-day period, Big Rig shall cease development on the Web Site and/or Media, and any deadlines or delivery dates hereunder shall be suspended until Customer provides such approval or requests revisions in writing. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Customer’s failure to timely approve the Comp or request revisions shall not suspend or otherwise alter Customer’s obligation to make any payments due and payable to Big Rig.

Shipping & Tax Policys

All orders of printed items are subject to additional shipping charges and California sales tax of 9.75%.
